Stock Port

Stock Port is a content retrieval system which pulls stock quotes from Yahoo! Finance, based on ticker symbol and then displays the results on your web site. There is also support for major market averages and the overall script is very customizable. Stock Port is short for "Stock Portal" and provides a very simple system for bringing users back to your web site.

We've built-in several small features to help you get everything running smoothly. The script comes pre-configured to display the NASDAQ and DJIA on the main page, and then individual stock quotes based on a user-submitted ticker symbol. Error-checking is another essential part of this script, as users may enter an unregistered ticker symbol. The HTML output is also very clean and simple, making it easy to read the final output from Yahoo!.
