TLD CheckTLD Check stands for "Top-Level-Domain Check". This is a simple script which queries the whois.internic.net server and checks to see if the selected domain name is available or registered. The script can return results for .com, .net, and .org domain names. Additionally, it will also check to see if the domain field is left blank, not a TLD, or if there are problems communicating with the Internic server.
